Near dry machining is a recent technology designed to replace traditional coolant and pure oil flood systems in machining environments with an controlled compressed air stream that carries minimal quantities of cutting oil in an “aerosol” format to the cutting surface.
This ensures lubrication of the cutting surface and allows high performance machining often surpassing coolant based machining with incre- ased tool life and reduced cycle times.
Removing coolant from the process also provides important environmental benefits and reduces costly waste product costs.
Lubricating Aerosol is transported to the cutting surface by External (via nozzles located around the tool) or Internal also known as “through- the-tool” methods.
Product Range:
- Maxtreme - general purpose high performance Internal & External. ready-to-use hybrid Aerosol auto-adaptive machining system
- MiQuel - Easy to use for External tool and saw applications
- H1 – Bielomatik Schmiertechnik High Performance programmable. Single channel system for automotive industry
- 2C – Bielomatik Schmiertechnik Leading Two Channel technology . system for large scale Automotive and aerospace
- Vip4Tools ((Standard, Pro, Coaxial) – Entry level micro pumped system)
- Grip - a small magnetic based system for small machine tool external application.
- MLU – MOBILE LUBRICATION UNIT – battery operated MQL system for aerospace composite materials
