Grease lubrication of turret on FPSO

The turret on FPSO is the system through which the vessel is able to rotate during mooring.

This internal turret (called "Bogie turret"), is supported by cylinders with modular axial and radial bearing components.

These components are involved during the rotation around the pivoting point, and therefore required a precise and constant grease lubrication to reduce the friction at the points of contact with the vessel and preserve the integrity of cylinders, which operate in very harsh conditions.

Thanks to our multiple years of experience in the lubrication sector, DropsA provides specific solutions for the Marine & Offshore sector, and design systems in compliance with ATEX certification.

This specific section on the components used the most will help you choose the system that is best suited to your needs in the automatic grease lubrication area.

DropsA has specific solutions for automatic grease lubrication of modular axial and radial bearings components of Bogie turret.
