Wire Rope Lubricator (WRL) - Viper

  1. Brochures

The Viper Mini MK 3 is designed to enable lubricant to migrate into the rope ensuring total coverage of lubricant. The collar is manufactured from high strength aluminium alloy with a robust coating to maximise corrosion resistance in harsh environments. This Viper WRL is designed for wire rope lubrication of mobile cranes, tower cranes, deck winches, construction and service cranes, anchor ropes and small marine cranes. Improved rope capacity 6mm to 44mm.

The Viper Mid MKII lubricates ropes at up to 2000m/h and is recommended for use with wharf cranes, ship cranes, ROV cables, mind winders, mobile cranes, oil & gas platforms, anchor ropes, deck winches, overhead cranes and ship loaders. This Viper WRL provides grease penetration, moisture displacement and total coverage by forcing lubricant into the core of the rope. Fast and effective lubrication of wire ropes with a diameter between 6mm to 67mm.

The Viper Maxi MKII lubricates ropes at up to 2000m/h. It is recommended for use with ROV cables, vessel crane ropes, underwater offshore wire ropes and drag lines. This Viper WRL provides grease penetration, moisture displacement and total coverage by forcing lubricant into the core of the rope. Fast and effective lubrication of wire ropes with a diameter between 50mm to 165mm.

HEALTH SAFETY ENVIRONMENT BENEFITS

When used correctly, the Viper WRL has several Health, Safety and Environment benefits. The Viper WRL is developed with safety and the environment in mind.
- Every gram of grease goes on the rope
- There is no leak, meaning no wasted lubricant and no environment impact
- Light weight allows for safe application
- There is no direct contact with the lubricant avoiding risk of accidental spillage
- The rope can be lubricated from a safe distance reducing hazardous safety risks

Safe, fast, efficient, environmentally responsible solutions for cleaning and lubricating wire ropes, increasing the life of wire rope assets by up to 300% and the time between relubrication.
