MLU - Mobile Lubrication Unit

The Mobile Lubrication Unit for aerospace industry

Key features:
- Dosage: from 5 ml/h to 100 ml/h
- Power supply: 12 V (Optional operation)
- Compressed air supply: 5-8 bar

The MLU System is a Minimum Quantity Lubrication system designed for automatic drill unit (ADU-Advanced Drilling Units).

The most important feature of this product is the portable device (magnetic holder), designed specifically for aircraft construction, that can be connected to all customary drilling feed units.

With a special control system, the Mobile Lubrication Unit (MLU) adjusts to the different demands of sandwich materials via automated on or off switching of the MQL process.

A particular control system automatically switches the MQL process on and off, and in this way individually adapts to the relevant material requirements. This system allows the perfect shut down of oil-flow when passing through the CFRP layer leaving the drilling site dry.

MLU connects to all commercially available ADU´s, and lubrication cycles can be activate either manually, electrically or pneumatically ensuring a perfect lubrication for sandwich materials with different layers.

Portable device for aircraft construction adjustable to different layers.

The system is supplied with flexible hose with 5 m working radius, and battery operation is possible Magnets for mounting on ferromagnetic surfaces.

APPLICATIONS
The typical sandwich materials used in aircraft construction (titanium, CFRP and aluminum) pose a particular challenge. Each material layer has special properties which require sometimes more, sometimes less or even no lubrication. And this with thousands of bores, which have to be drilled manually by means of advanced drilling units.

MLU is the best solution designed for Aerospace industry - automatic drill unit - aircraft construction of any size and type.

This system can be used for internal and external lubrication through spindle and also for single spindle.
