Single Line Restrictor
The 01 Single Line System operates by distributing the output of a pump over a number of Meter Units.
This system provides a simple and very cost effective method of oil lubrication on small machine applications such as: wood-working machines, shoe making machines, small machine tools, printing machines

Single Line System basic concept
The 01 System consists of meter units (calibrated 'orifices') that balance the distribution line pressure and divide the oil from the pump proportionally across the meter units.
A Smile pump with an "01 System" represents one of the lowest priced entry level centralized lubrication systems on the market today whilst maintaining high reliability and appearance.
Meter Units
The Meter Units can be intermittent or continuous lubrication. Used to partition the oil between the lubrication points.
Intermittent Meter Units contain a check valve to prevent back flow.

Meter Units may be fitted either directly to the bearing or grouped in Juctions

Spiral Meter Units for Continuous Lubrication
Spiral Meter Unit features
For use on high precision mechanisms, or fo hidh speed rotating bearings where it is necessary to mantain a continuous film.
Availabe for flow rates of a few mm³/hour up to very high flow.
Suitable for use with pure mineral oil with a maximum viscosity of 1500 cSt (6942 SUS) at the working pressure

Cylindrical Meter Units for Intermittent Lubrication
Cylindrical Meter Unit features
For use on mechanisms that work intermittently, or lightly loaded.
Pressure from 1 to 10 bar (from 14.7 to 147 psi).
Suitable for use with pure mineral oil with a maximum viscosity of 1000 cSt at 40 °C (4628 SUS at 104 °F).
