Rolling mill air/oil lubrication system

The rolling millis an industrial machine laminating and / or hot or cold shaping of malleable materials. The essential parts of a rolling mill are: the rolling stand, the rolling equipment,  and the cooling plates. The main parts of rolling stand are working roll where the ends are supported by bearings housed in two sturdy uprights. 

The Dropsa air-oil lubrication system has 5-Stand Tandem Cold Mill to lubricate the bearingsand seals positioned inside the Working Roll / Intermediate Roll / Back-up Roll chocks.

A lubrication  system could is equipped by 3 important lubrication products: the main oil pump station, the satellite panels, SMX  progressive dividers and then the dropsa splitter bolck.

This kind of system allows for a reduction in lubricant consumption compared to standard grease lubrication.

Furthermore, thanks to bearing housing being pressurized there will be a significant decrease of contamination, therefore a consequent reduction of downtime and maintenance costs.


Furthermore as well as being a precise lubrication solution its also has environmental advantages as it uses less lubricant thanks to the effect of air which helps the cooling/lubricating process.
