Aerators infuse air into the sewage and the oxygen pumped releases noxious gases such as CO2 and methane from the sewage.

Important Points of the system

Analysis of the lubrication system
Essentially the lubrication should be carried out by Thames Water engineers that can cover multiple sites or pumping stations.

Due to reduced manpower they did not have the time to lubricate the bearings at the regular interval required.

Moreover due to health and safety the aerator would have to be stopped and emptied to allow an engineer proper access.

This case application was implemented using

Bravo BlueboX system, which incorporates all the instrumentation and monitoring of a grease system neatly in a box
