Dropsa & Star Micronics at the 2010 Simodec at Industrial Tradeshows
DROPSA partners with STAR MICRONICS to demostrate MQL technology in action on Swiss Type Automatic Lathes
Dropsa and Star Micronics will be at a series of tradeshows accross Europe in 2010 where it will be possible to view view a near dry machining system mounted on the SR-19 Swiss Type Automatic Lathes.
During the expositions the Star SR-10 will manufacture a small component using the Dropsa MKD Dual System.

The SR-10J type C is a compact machine designed to turn very small precision objects, the realization of which requires a careful and precise lubrication of the cutting tool. To such scope the Dropsa MKD Dual near dry machining system is used. Our system, thanks to state of the art aerosol generation technology and its auto-adaptive system, guarantees high performance near-dry machining applications requiring internal thru-the-tool minimal quantity lubrication.
Dropsa has substantial experience in the field of near dry machining technology and has already carried out a number of MQL system installations on STAR machines. Several of these are available in our MQL case study application center.
